EPILATION
The laser beams used in epilation penetrate the hair follicles and are absorbed by the melanin present there. By increasing the heat with high energy and a long pulse duration, it damages the root cells in the hair follicle area, thus providing epilation.
Generally, Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, and Diode lasers are used for epilation purposes.
